What Is Bambooless Dhoop?

Bambooless dhoop is a solid incense stick made entirely of fragrant paste (wood powder, natural resin and fragrance oils) with no bamboo core. With nothing but fragrance burning, it gives a richer scent, leaves no charred bamboo stub, and holds its fragrance in the room for longer.

How it is made

The paste is kneaded from wood powder, natural resin and fragrance oils, shaped into sticks by hand and dried slowly in the shade so it burns evenly. Without a bamboo core, the stick has to be firm enough to stand on its own, which takes patient drying.

Why people prefer it

How do I light a bambooless dhoop stick?

Hold the tip in a flame for a few seconds until it catches, let it burn for a moment, then gently blow it out so it glows and smoulders.

How long does a bambooless dhoop stick burn?

About 55–60 minutes for our premium dhoop and up to 75 minutes for our luxury dhoop.
